Miss Brooke Myers
Founder
(1980-2021)
Miss Brooke founded Dance Adventure in 1999. An accomplished teacher and choreographer with over 25 years of experience. Brooke was recognized many times for her hard work and dedication, including being named as one of K-W's 40 under 40 community leaders and a KW Oktoberfest Arts & Culture Woman of the Year. Her spirit and values continue to guide our DA team. Brooke's legacy is her love of dance, energy and creativity which make Dance Adventure a wonderful place to support students through their adventure in dance. Miss Jenna has been a member of the Dance Adventure family since its opening in 1999. Jenna started out as one of Brooke’s students; from there she started assisting in dance classes and quickly found a passion for teaching. Her many years of teaching experience include: jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop with students of all ages including recreational and competitive classes. Miss Jenna has grown to be a respected leader in our DA community. As a teacher Jenna strives to make each class a fun and exciting learning experience by sharing her passion of dance with all of her students.
Miss Jacqui du Randt
Co-Director
Ms Jacqui holds extensive training is Acrobatics, Jazz, Tap and all of the core stage disciplines. She has taught professionally in KW and the surrounding areas and has choreographed many overall award winning competitive pieces for various studios in Ontario. Jacqui has trained with Mandy Moore, Denise Wall, Frank Augustine and many other fantastic choreographers over the years, which lead her to several overall soloist titles in Canada and the United States when she danced herself competitively. Miss Jacqui performed professionally on Celebrity Cruise Line in their production cast and assisted the choreographers with the opening numbers in the Dance Canada Pageant 2014.
Miss Kelly Fleming
Acro Director
Ms. Kelly sought out dance at a young age. With over 25 years of experience she has completed exams through the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.), Canadian Dance Teachers Association (C.D.T.A.) as well as successful completion of NCCP Artistic Gymnastics Foundations, introduction and theory courses. She is a member of the Professional Curriculum for Acrobatic Arts and is a certified Progressing Ballet Technique (PDT) teacher. Kelly loves teaching many forms of movement and her choreography has won many overall titles. Outside of dance, Kelly holds a diploma in Graphic Design and Advertising at Conestoga College. She is thrilled to be teaching and choreographing for Dance Adventure again this season and can't wait to see her students grow in their love for dance.

Miss Emma Gibney
Emma is highly accomplished performer, dance educator and choreographer from Kitchener with over twenty-six years of training in various styles including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, acrobatics, modern, musical theatre, voice, and acting.
Emma studied under The Royal Academy of Dance, Quinte Ballet School and The National Ballet of Canada. She is a graduate of Randolph College For The Performing Arts where she studied voice, acting, dance, film and television over two years in their renowned “Triple Threat” college program. Emma has been fortunate enough to work and train with some of the industry’s best instructors, choreographers, performers and professionals; developing her skills across the performing arts industry.
After graduation, Emma began her journey within the professional theatre industry and has worked on some amazing productions. Select credits include Spring Awakening, RENT, Rocket Man: The Music of Elton John, Princess Pop: A Celebration of Wishes, Always ABBA: The Music of ABBA, Anything Goes, Fancy Nancy, and Legally Blonde, among others. She is a firm believer in developing and supporting community theatre and continues to stay connected to Kitchener-Waterloo’s community theatre scene.
Emma is a certified Acrobatic Arts and Alixa Flexibility instructor as well as a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. Most recently Emma was voted Kitchener-Waterloo’s Best Dance instructor receiving the “Gold” award by the Waterloo Record 3 years in a row. (2022, 2023 and 2024)
She continues her training by taking voice and dance classes regularly and firmly believes in the importance of continuing her education so she can provide a safe and proper education for her students, supporting their arts development.
Miss Jessica Singh
Miss Meaghan Reitzel
Ms Meaghan has been a part of the Dance Adventure family since it's opening in 1999, first as a student and more recently as a teacher of both competitive and recreational students. Meaghan danced competitively for 15 years and had the opportunity to dance twice at Walt Disney's the Magic Kingdom as part of the Dance Adventure team. Meaghan has received training in many of the core disciplines of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre and lyrical but has a special love for the sounds and rhythms of tap dancing. Ms Meaghan & Ms Kelly Reitzel run the Dance Adventure Rhythm Experience (DARE) program, which offers specialized dance classes for children and teens across developmental and physical spectrums.
Miss Naya Sanchez
Miss Naya grew up training at Dance Adventure, where she developed a strong technical foundation. As a competitive dancer, she received numerous overall awards both as a soloist and group performer, and was invited to Orlando to compete as part of the National Elite Team, earning special recognition for her expressive performances.
She continued to grow her passion for dance as a member of the University of Waterloo’s competitive dance team, where she is focused on developing her knowledge in contemporary, jazz, and lyrical as both a dancer and choreographer for the team. Alongside her dance journey, Naya earned her bachelor’s degree in Architecture and will be continuing her studies in the Master of Architecture program.
Miss Naya has created several award-winning competitive routines and is excited to step into her role as a choreographer at Dance Adventure, sharing her creativity and passion with the next generation of dancers. As a teacher, Miss Naya strives to create a fun and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to express themselves, work hard, and believe in their potential.
Miss Adrianna McMullin
Ms Adrianna has trained at Dance Adventure for 15 years in ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and tap. She has been competing for 8 years winning numerous awards and overalls. Her passion for dance has kept her close to the studio, and she is excited to continue to help and encourage the younger dancers improve their skills.
Miss Raianne Dinsmore
Miss Raianne started her Dance Adventure journey at the age of three and quickly found her passion for dance. Growing up, she trained in the core disciplines, but fell in love with acro, lyrical, and tap. Miss Raianne graduated from Eastwood Collegiate's Integrated Arts Program where she majored in dance and visual arts. As part of her high school experience, she got the opportunity to learn from professional dancers and award-winning choreographers, as well as participate in professional shows. Outside of dance, Miss Raianne has completed her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Waterloo and is on her way to a Master's degree in the school of Planning. As a teacher, Miss Raianne encourages her dancers to find their love of dance through a fun and supportive learning environment, where every dancer has the chance to shine.
Miss Olivia Bartels
Miss Olivia has been dancing at Dance Adventure since 2007, and has been passionate about dance ever since. She trained and competed with the competitive team for 15 years, she has earned multiple awards and overall titles. From her dedication, Miss Olivia was invited to work with the National team in Niagara Falls collaborating with dancers from across North America. Today, her enthusiasm for dance shines through her teaching as she helps students discover their own love for dance. Miss Olivia is committed to providing support to every dancer and encouraging growth, while also fostering a welcoming environment by connecting with families at the front desk and in the lobby to ensure Dance Adventure remains a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for all.

Miss Natalia Savtchouk
Miss Natalia began her journey in dance and gymnastics at a young age, quickly developing a passion for both. She advanced in her training and became a competitive dancer at Dance Adventure, initially with her love of Acro. Over the years, Miss Natalia has also trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Tap.
In addition to her dance background, she has continued to nurture her love for gymnastics. For the past two years, she has been coaching gymnastics and is certified through the Ontario NCCP in Artistic Gymnastics Foundations, including the Introduction and Theory courses.
Miss Natalia is excited to share her knowledge and passion with her students. She aims to help them grow their skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for dance.
Miss Tevya Kurczak
Miss Tevya has been dancing at DA since before she was born and is an accomplished dancer and performer with multiple professional musical theatre performance credits to her name. She is excited to take on a new challenge mentoring our young recreational dancers in Jazz and Tap.
Miss Tracy Zinck
Ms Tracy was a competitive gymnast and helped to facilitate many international gymnastics competitions. She graduated from Seneca College's National Coaching Program and continued her involvement in the sport as a competitive coach in K-W, Toronto, and Ottawa. She has her diploma in Adult Education and works as a Client Engagement Manager at a learning software company in Waterloo; but her real passion is gymnastics. Ms Tracy is very excited about working with the Acro students and challenging them to improve their skills.
Mr Ben Fleming
Mr Ben is an accomplished gymnast and was a member of the Canadian National Men's Gymnastics Team with specialties in both the floor and pommel horse; Mr. Ben participated in many national and international competitions. Ben graduated from Conestoga College with a diploma in Computer Engineering Technology. Mr Ben toured the world as a member of Project Dunk, an acrobatic basketball show that performed on Canada's Got Talent and were the first group of its kind to perform for the Saudi royal family. He is looking forward to challenging Dance Adventure's acro students.
Mr Braden Kurczak
Owner / Operations Director
Mr Braden is an accomplished gymnast, acrobat, and a former Ukrainian dancer. He tells everyone he's a super-hero: by day, he is a professional engineer; by night he is a dance dad & "that studio guy". Mr Braden was a founding member of Slam Dunk Entertainment, producing acrobatic basketball shows for the Toronto Raptors (halftime) and various NBA and NCAA teams. He toured world as a member of the Slam Jam Air Team and Project Dunk, the latter of which was invited to perform on Canada's Got Talent and were the first group of its kind to perform for the Saudi Royal Family. Mr Braden is excited to continue working behind the scenes to support our Dance Adventure families.
